About us
Illustoryart is a group of three artists who have been living and working together for many years, specializing in both traditional and digital illustration. They have participated in various international conventions and art events like Artexpo New York, ComicCon Russia, and the Oulu Comics Festival, and have collaborated on projects worldwide.
Lena Gnedkova is a nonbinary illustrator skilled in both traditional and digital media. With a master's degree in Math and Computer Science, Lena began her career as a CGI artist in the gaming industry, while exploring watercolor pencil illustrations in her spare time. After exhibiting her work at Artexpo New York, she and Alex decided to leave their office jobs and start an art business. As a neurodiverse person, Lena views her art as a way to express herself and explore themes of belonging and acceptance.
Kristina Takarchuk brings a background in architecture to her work as an illustrator. Before joining Illustoryart, she worked as a storyboard artist, graphic designer, and mobile game artist. Kristina is deeply committed to the freedom of personal expression and the right to shape one’s life and relationships. She seeks to engage with new audiences, collaborate with fellow artists, and contribute to the artistic community of Europe.
Alex Popov is the driving force behind transforming artistic vision into fully realized projects, guiding them from concept to completion in the form of traditional artwork, digital illustrations, or physical merchandise. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the artistic process, Alex fosters collaboration among team members to bring their collective ideas to life, expertly managing communication and production.
Together, the artists of Illustoryart blend their diverse experiences into a shared vision, creating meaningful art that reaches across different cultures and communities.
